A spa visit is enjoyable even when it is spontaneous — but a few small preparations improve the experience noticeably. The points below are drawn from the questions our guests ask most often.
1. Arrive 15 minutes early
Arriving early removes the rush of changing and getting ready. Those fifteen minutes also help you slow down mentally.
2. Avoid a heavy meal
A heavy meal in the hour before your treatment can feel uncomfortable in a warm environment. A light snack is plenty.
3. Drink plenty of water
Both the hammam and the sauna cause fluid loss through perspiration. Drinking water before and after makes a real difference to how you feel.
4. What should you bring?
A swimsuit is all you need. Peshtemal, towel, slippers and basic amenities are provided by the centre.
5. Share any health conditions
Please tell us about pregnancy, heart conditions, blood pressure issues, skin problems or recent surgery. Our treatments are not medical therapy, and some situations require your doctor’s approval.
6. Say what pressure you prefer
Massage pressure is personal. Saying “a little lighter, please” is never a problem — your therapist wants to hear it.
7. Put the phone away
Quiet is preserved in the relaxation areas. Switching your phone to silent protects both your experience and everyone else’s.
8. Leave time for afterwards
Leaving the moment your treatment ends shortens its effect. Stay at least half an hour in the relaxation lounge, and if you can, avoid booking anything demanding straight afterwards.
One small reminder
Spa treatments are about relaxation and care. If you are looking for a solution to a specific health problem, your doctor is the right place to start.
